- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Keep track of work performed with accurate records
- Prepare quotes and estimates of work cost
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Execute repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Assemble and install automotive parts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs and repair options.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for various repair tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on automotive systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and practices.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Experience in welding is a plus for certain repair tasks.
- Familiarity with assembling automotive components effectively.
- Capability to maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
