Automation Lead (Banking Domain)
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: Up to $110,000 CAD
Talend Grid is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Automation Lead to join their technology team in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automation testing professional with strong experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Lead automation testing activities for enterprise applications.
- Perform automation testing for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Execute mobile testing using Appium, Espresso, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review test results and drive continuous quality improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience designing and maintaining automation testing frameworks.
- Experience with Appium, Espresso, or other mobile automation tools.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience using JIRA for defect management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- API testing experience.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Leadership or mentoring experience is an asset.
