Job Overview:
The TD Centre is one of Toronto’s premier commercial properties located in the heart of the financial district, supporting a large population of tenants, employees, and visitors each day.
As a Security Dispatcher, you will be at the center of daily operations, coordinating communication between security teams and ensuring timely response to incidents across the property. This role requires strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once while supporting safe and efficient operations throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor radio channels, phones, and security systems to receive and respond to incidents in real time

Dispatch security personnel to alarms, service requests, and incidents across the property

Maintain ongoing communication with guards, supervisors, and leadership teams

Receive, assess, and prioritize incoming calls to ensure timely and appropriate response

Track active incidents from start to resolution, providing updates as required

Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records

Escalate incidents to supervisors, emergency services, or management when necessary

Support coordination during emergencies including medical incidents, thefts, disturbances, and evacuations

Assist with monitoring CCTV and other systems to support response efforts

Ensure all communication is clear, professional, and in line with site procedures

Work closely with the team to maintain smooth daily operations in a high-volume environment
Prerequisites:

Ability to obtain a Security License in the province of Ontario.

Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider.

Emergency Management Certification.

Crisis Intervention Training.

Minimum three (3) years of security experience in a supervisory, dispatch, or team lead capacity within a large-scale commercial or industrial environment.

Proficiency with site-specific security infrastructure, including Lenel OnGuard access control, Key watcher key management systems, and Avigilon Control Center (ACC) surveillance software.

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills required for a high-volume, dynamic environment.

Ability to remain calm and effectively manage complex incidents under pressure.

Strong report writing, documentation, and operational oversight skills.

Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the certifications with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
