We are looking for an individual that:

● Has current experience in preparing and reviewing audit, review and compilation files and has experience in preparing and reviewing corporate and personal income tax returns
Job Duties
● Review compilation, review and audit working paper files, including financial statements and notes thereto.
● Review of corporate and personal tax returns
● Assist and help manage partner’s practice through managing workload, deadlines, and resourcing.
● Manage and utilize staff resources when scheduling and budgeting, including monitoring deadlines and resourcing.
● Provides training and guidance for junior staff members and review their work as required
● Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
● Maintaining an understanding of developing accounting and taxation standards with the ability to apply updates at the local level
● Some bookkeeping and preparation of year end work where required
● Other ad hoc projects as determined by the firm such as responding to CRA reviews, advisory type work, tax, assistance to the administration team, practice management.
Qualifications
● CPA designation preferred
● 1-3 years of public accounting firm experience, ideally with exposure to ASPE and a variety of tax applications including but not limited to GST, payroll, personal, corporate and trusts.
● Previous use of Tax Cycle and CaseWare programs would be considered an asset
● QuickBooks Online experience is considered an asset, but not required.

Education:
● Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
● CPA designation (preferred)
Experience:
● Accounting: 4 years (preferred)
