Absolute Must:
- Must have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Must possess good negotiation skills and excellent judgment
- Must have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic with exception interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Daily tracing and tracking of all shipments through to delivery
- Working closely with suppliers, carriers and customers to manage shipments and contracts
- Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth execution
- Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Provide timely and accurate shipment information to carriers.
Ideally:
- Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience are an asset
- Entrepreneurial spirit and interpersonal savvy
- Sound analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven communication and time-management skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment
