We have an opportunity for an Early Childhood Educator in the Before & After School Program at Lambton Kingsway Junior Middle School in Etobicoke starting September 2026!
The Before & After School Program is licensed by the Ministry of Education to provide before and after school care for kindergarten and school age children from September to June and a school age Day Camp in the summer.
What We Offer
This position works a unique split shift (7:30am – 9:00am, and again at 2:30pm-6:00pm).
We offer a competitive hourly rate for this key position of $28.65/hour ($24/ hour base salary plus $2.50/hour split-shift premium pay plus Provincial Wage Enhancement $2.15/hour), dependent upon experience.

Things We Look For
· Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
· We are open to Child and Youth Workers, Social Workers and School Teachers, ideally with school age / child care experience.
· Experience working in a childcare centre and working within a team
· Knowledge of the AQI and the Child Care and Early Years Act
· Awareness of allergies and health and safety practices in licensed childcare centres
· Flexible team player who adapts to the needs of children, educators and the program
· Problem solving, multi-tasking and time management skills
· Clear vulnerable sector screening
· First Aid Certification
· Prior before and after school program experience an asset
