Maintenance Technician – Glass Fabrication Equipment

High Performance Glazing Inc. is a leading custom glass fabrication company specializing in cutting, tempering, insulating glass units (IGUs), and specialty glass products. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our production equipment and ensure minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is critical to keeping our cutting lines, tempering furnace, IG lines, and supporting equipment running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including:
- Respond quickly to production breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Work closely with production supervisors to plan maintenance activities
- Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
- Support equipment installations and upgrades
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of:
- Experience in glass, window, aluminum, or heavy manufacturing is a strong asset
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a factory environment

- Overtime available when required

- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- PLC troubleshooting (asset)
