Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and proficient in various aspects of dental assisting. MUST HAVE DENTAL ASSISTING CERTIFICATE AND HARP CERTIFICATION .NO EXCEPTIONS
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the office.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with dental software systems, particularly Abeldent
- Familiarity with orthodontics practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $21.41-$33.18 per hour
