CATTLELAND FEEDYARDS LTD. is a family owned 25,000 head feedlot, located 10 minutes north of Strathmore, Alberta. We are offering full-time employment which includes competitive wages, and excellent health benefits.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE :
- Check cattle daily to maintain their health and welfare.
- Perform disease prevention activities by pulling and treating cattle as per the health protocols
- Move cattle within the feedlot and assist with receiving and shipping cattle
- Keep accurate records of treatment of cattle within our electronic health program
- Have access to two horses and be comfortable riding horses through pens
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Previous Feedlot & Pen Riding experience an asset
- Horseback riding experience
- Some experience operating equipment
