Summary
We are seeking dedicated Park Workers for Alice Lake Provincial Park to join our team in a variety of positions to help maintain the natural beauty and safety of our outdoor recreational areas. Located in Squamish, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values outdoor activity and environmental care.
Overall Responsibilities
- May assist with park maintenance and landscaping projects to ensure the safety and aesthetic appeal of the area.
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and natural landscapes through gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance activities
- Cleaning campsites, outhouses, and park facilities
- Garbage and recycling removal
- Collecting camping fees when required
- Small landscaping, maintenance, and repair tasks
- Conducting site inspections and reporting hazards or issues
- Providing friendly, professional customer service to park visitors
- Supporting visitor safety and incident response as needed
- Following environmental, safety, and operational policies
Qualifications
- Minimum Class 7 (N) BC driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Ability to follow direction and work unsupervised
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from the park
- Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs. (23 kg), bending, crouching, and standing

- Competitive hourly wage -$19-$22.65 ( dependent on role and experience)
