Finisher - Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client
Our client is a local kitchen cabinet facility. They are super close knit and are looking for the next two superstars to join their team! If you have 1-2 years of experience in a production facility (preferably in a similar setting) and are looking for a full time ongoing opportunity, please apply.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Finisher:
· Preparing cabinet pieces for painting and staining
· Sand, prime, stain and/or paint cabinetry parts
· Maintain paint equipment and spray booth as required
· Touch up finished materials as required to produce an equal tone
· Perform preventative maintenance tasks as prescribed
· Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
· Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Finisher:
· Minimum of 1 - 2 years production experience
· Proven manual dexterity
· CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots/shoes
· Must be able and willing to work in a loud, dirty/dusty environment (which also means wearing safety glasses and ear plugs)
· Ability to stand, bend, crouch, lift consistently
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs if needed
· Great English communication skills
In Return, You Will Receive:
· $20.00 / hour + 4% accrued vacation pay
· Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will be Working is:
· 6:30am to 4:00pm
· Monday to Friday
· Some overtime available if you need it, on Saturdays (optional)
