At LEO Pharma, we are seeking a high‑performing Business Unit leader to lead the Critical Care Business Unit in Canada, with full accountability for financial performance, operations, and people leadership within a global, values‑driven organization. This is a high‑impact role driving both national results and global alignment.
As the Business Unit Director, you will be accountable for the overall financial and operational success of the business, ensuring strong country contribution and alignment with global Critical Care priorities. You will be a key member of the Canadian Leadership Team and an active participant in the Extended Global Critical Care Leadership Team, operating effectively within LEO Pharma’s global matrix organization.
This is a hybrid role, based out of LEO’s downtown Toronto office.
International Involvement
Build strong, senior‑level relationships with Hospital Administrators, Pharmacy Directors, Provincial Health Authorities, and GPOs.

Success in this role requires a strategic, people‑focused leader who can energize teams, influence diverse stakeholders, and deliver results in a complex, evolving environment. You bring strong learning agility, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize what matters most, while leading with integrity, courage, and a global mindset. Comfort with ambiguity, change, and executive‑level communication is essential.
You will lead a talented Canadian Critical Care team while collaborating closely with cross‑functional colleagues locally and globally in LEO Pharma’s matrix organization. You will also partner with a broad range of external stakeholders, including healthcare leaders, industry partners, and vendors. The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
