The Civil Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of civil construction projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Safety Leadership: Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

Road Construction: Supervise the construction of roads, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

Site Development: Manage site preparation activities, including grading, drainage, and layout, to facilitate smooth project progression.

Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of construction workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Coordinate with project managers, operations manager, and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency.

Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate and supervise the use of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators and loaders, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Quality Control: Inspect work regularly to ensure compliance with project specifications and resolve any issues promptly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and safety inspections.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years in civil construction, with a focus on road construction, grading and site development.

A valid G license is required.

Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage a team.

In-depth understanding of construction safety protocols and site development processes.

Use of surveying equipment is an asset.
