Summary
As a Parts Person at Gallant Parts & Tools, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their automotive parts needs. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction in the automotive aftermarket industry. You need to find parts matching the description given through various online electronic tools.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
As a small company, we do not need any particular certification or education. Someone curious, courteous, good team player and be able to learn in an ever changing industry is what we are looking for.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the right automotive parts and tools for their needs.
- Utilize various computer systems to look up the correct parts for customers
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain an organized workspace to facilitate smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail or automotive parts sales is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Bilingualism is an asset to assist a diverse customer base.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes is preferred.
- An appetite for continuous learning and knowledge
