REPORTS TO: General Manager / Manager on duty

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Min of 3 years’ experience in a Bartending role with daily sales ranging from $1000 - $3000 per shift
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in relation to serving a section of 10-25 Seats in size as well as providing service to the pub patrons via the service staff and walk-ups
- High level of timeliness and quality standards
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems in general as well as cash out procedures
- Serving it Right Certificate
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- The ability to follow proper procedures
- The ability to run the day to day operation of a section as well as provide service to the pub patrons via the service staff and walk-ups
- The ability to communicate daily food and drink specials to the guest in a clear and concise manner
- The ability to have in depth knowledge with standard drink recipes in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation
- The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing and receiving instruction and encouragement as needed
- The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
- The ability to ensure the quality and timeliness of the guest experience through monitoring proper food and drink bill times
- The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management
- The ability to make quick decisions when a problem arises and execute a solution in the absence of a manager or supervisor that will best ensure the guest has a quality experience
- The ability to respect and communicate with the kitchen regarding all guest requests
-The ability to up sell products to the guests through knowledgeable recommendations of all our food and beverage options
- The ability to communicate any and all guest feedback to the manager on duty
- The ability to inform the manager on duty of any and all guest issues so as to provide a quality experience
- The ability to adhere to correct ID policies congruent to the BC Liquor Board Regulations
- The ability to adhere to correct methods of serving alcohol as outlined by Serving it Right, as well as, the BC Liquor Board
- The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the set standards of the pub
