Position Summary
We are looking for a Production Planner who will be responsible for coordinating and managing production schedules, material requirements, and work order releases to support the manufacturing of complex aerospace components and structural assemblies. This role acts as a critical link between customer requirements, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory standards.
Here’s What You’ll Deliver:
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate master production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments and operational objectives.
- Release and manage machining and assembly work orders in accordance with production priorities and capacity requirements.
- Plan and monitor material requirements to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, components, and tooling.
- Coordinate high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing schedules involving complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining operations and structural assemblies.
- Monitor work order progress and adjust schedules as required to address production constraints, material shortages, engineering changes, or customer priorities.
- Support customer demand planning and communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Experience with CNC machining, structural assemblies, and aerospace manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
