Hoco Hotels is seeking skilled, reliable, and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team at Casa 1881, located within The Windsor Hotel in Stratford, Ontario.

Schedule Requirements
- Full-time position averaging approximately 37.5–42 hours per week
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Your typical shift will be 6:30-2:30 pm and you will be required to work on weekends during the peak season.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Execution
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and proper portioning at all times
- Execute service efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked stations
Prep & Kitchen Organization
- Complete daily prep tasks and station setup
- Follow prep lists and maintain strong organization throughout service
- Properly label, store, and rotate food (FIFO)
Team & Service Support
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Communicate clearly with team members and leadership
- Assist other stations as needed during service
Food Safety & Standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support kitchen opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Canadian work authorization
