Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take and accurately relay drink and food orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve beverages responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol serving regulations
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management
- Assist in food handling, serving, and refilling drinks promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality standards
- Knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Experience in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Prior serving or bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
