We currently have an opening for an Lead Sign Installer to join our team as soon as possible. The Lead Sign Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of signs. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, good physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be working as a lead to:
- Installing signs made from different materials including wood, sheet metal and plastic indoors and outdoors
- Understanding and complying with all company policies and training including Health and Safety
- Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- Working extra hours, with some evenings and Saturdays as business requires
Required Skills
- Safely operate tools and equipment such as drills, saws, ladders, and lifts.
- Ensure all installations comply with company standards and local regulations.
- Proficient with measurements
- Able to follow directions
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Driver’s license preferred
- Some ladder work, working at heights
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be a fast learner and have a positive can do attitude
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience preferred, but must be willing to learn.
Nice To Have:
- Bobcat Certification
- Forklift Certification
- Crane Certification
- Bucket Truck Experience
- A-Z License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights on ladders and lifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
