What you will do...
- Assessment and evaluation of risks within the commercial property portfolio.
- Work within defined limits of authority, consistently provide high quality underwriting decisions that support the achievement of Heartland financial targets in accordance with the Operational Plan.
- Review and transact renewals, endorsements, and cancellations within our commercial property portfolio
- Provide support to Senior Commercial Underwriters as needed in order to achieve service standards.
- Negotiate policy terms with brokers/agents.
- Proactively manage business development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
What you will bring...
- 3 years of experience underwriting commercial property insurance risks.
- CIP and/or CRM or working towards is preferred.
- Exposure to agribusiness accounts is preferred.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000. The salary for the successful candidate will be determined by various factors including but not limited to an individual’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, along with internal equity, and market considerations.
