What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene services, including periodontal assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and preventative care.
- Assess patient oral health needs and develop individualized hygiene treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventative care strategies, and home care techniques to support long-term wellness.
- Build strong, trusting relationships through exceptional patient communication and compassionate care.
- Accurately document clinical findings, treatment recommendations, and patient records.
- Collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that supports clinical excellence and outstanding service.
What You'll Bring
- Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based patient care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a busy clinical setting.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfort using dental practice management software; experience with LiveDDM is considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is considered an asset.
- A genuine passion for helping patients improve and maintain their oral health.
