We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Event Sales Associate to assist at our African food booth during Nova Multifest.
The successful candidate will help serve customers, handle sales transactions, maintain a clean and organized booth, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced festival environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people and working in a lively cultural event.
Event Dates & Hours
- Thursday, July 24: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday, July 25: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday, July 26: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Applicants should be available to work all three days.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders and process payments.
- Serve food while following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Keep the booth clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Assist with setting up before the event and packing up afterward.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or sales experience is an asset but not required.
- Cash handling experience is an asset.
- Friendly, energetic, and dependable.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a busy festival environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
