The Senior Manager, Clinical Practice Excellence & Health Supports provides organizational leadership in strengthening staff practice, competency, and consistency in the delivery of delegated health-related supports. This role leads training and competency initiatives, supports programs serving individuals with complex health needs, and helps ensure safe, high-quality, person-centered care across the organization.

As the Senior Manager, Clinical Practice Excellence & Health Supports, you will:
- Lead staff training, competency development, and practice support related to delegated health supports and Complex Regulated Acts.
- Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and coaching to Program Managers and staff supporting individuals with complex health needs.
- Oversee medication support training, competency processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support harm reduction programs, Naloxone training, and other health-focused initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance related to palliative care, advance care planning, and end-of-life supports.
- Coordinate and oversee the organization's respiratory protection and mask fit testing program.
- Participate in incident reviews, risk mitigation activities, and practice improvement initiatives.
- Build collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners, families, and internal teams.
- Contribute as a member of ALSO's Senior Management Team and Collaborative Leadership Model.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.
- Experience providing training, coaching, mentorship, or practice development.
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Delegated and regulated acts
- Medication administration and management
- Harm reduction principles and practices
- Person-centered and risk-informed approaches to care
