located in Edson Alberta, We are looking for experienced Logging Truck Drivers to join our team.
2024-2027 Peterbilt Tri-drive 367, 567, 589, 9 axle and 10 axle logging trailers. Company full paid benefit package ,L.O.A allowance and accommodations .
Competitive wages $38-$45 per hr based on experience ($100,000.00 - $145,000,00 annually ) Overtime after 10 hours and 50 hours, paid hourly from pre trip to post trip daily. monthly bonuses.
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial truck
- Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Drive safely on bush roads and highways adhere to all traffic and mill regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and trip documentation
- Communicate effectively with loader operators, dispatch, and fellow drivers
- Adhere to all company safety policies
- Perform basic repairs as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean abstract is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in log hauling or equivalent off road experience
- Operate tri-drive logging trucks, hauling 9 Axle and 10Axle King B Trailer from cut blocks to mills or yards
- Strong mechanical aptitude with some knowledge of repairs is beneficial.
- log hauling in winter driving conditions.
