Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stonemason and bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and the ability to work with various types of brick, stone and block materials. This role involves constructing, repairing, and restoring stone structures while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Construct, repair, and restore stone structures such as houses, foundations, chimney's etc
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry is required . Please do not apply if your not well experienced with brick block and stone . Be honest with your experience .
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
