Pho 99 (SFU) is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Full-Time and Part-Time Cooks to join our growing team! Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but we are happy to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude.
Pay
- Starting at $18.25/hour
- Tips (shared fairly among all staff working the shift)
- 4% vacation pay
- Wage review after the probation period based on performance
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Assist with food preparation and stocking
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Support teammates to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements
- Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and responsible
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required

Job Details

- Full-time: 30–40 hours per week
- Part-time: 20–30 hours per week

Schedule
- Full-time: 8–10 hour shifts
- Part-time: 4–6 hour shifts
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts (until approximately 11:00–11:30 PM)
- Weekends and holidays as required
- Monday to Friday availability is an asset
Location Requirement
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Burnaby, BC, or plan to relocate before starting work.
