Overview
We are growing company seeking skilled Fabricators/Welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and machinery. This role requires experience using fluxcore, metalcore and solid wire and work in a face pace environment. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts using various welding techniques
- Rig and operate cranes for moving heavy materials safely within the workspace.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Skilled in machining processes for precise component fabrication.
- Capable of rigging loads safely for crane operation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
Experience:
- FCAW/MCAW welding: 4 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Do have current CWB tickets? (preferred)
