ABOUT ASE SERVICES
ASE Services is an environmental health, safety, and industrial hygiene consulting company specializing in hazardous materials assessments, air monitoring, and worker safety, headquartered in Calgary with offices in Edmonton and Lethbridge. Our consultants help organizations across Alberta make buildings and work sites safe for workers and the public.

- Asbestos, mould, and lead investigations
- Air monitoring and clearance testing
- Indoor air quality assessments

Our projects range from schools and hospitals to commercial buildings, oil and gas facilities, and major infrastructure projects.
THE ROLE
As an Environmental Safety Consultant, you will help ensure renovation and demolition projects involving hazardous materials are conducted safely.
You will work on real projects from the start across Edmonton, Alberta, and surrounding provinces, gaining experience with a wide range of clients and industries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct air monitoring during asbestos and hazardous material remediation projects
- Perform site inspections to verify safe work practices
- Collect building material samples for laboratory analysis
- Perform hazardous materials and indoor air quality assessments
- Analyze air monitoring results against regulatory limits
- Prepare clear and accurate technical reports
- Communicate professionally with contractors, clients, and team members

Required Qualifications
- University degree in a science-related discipline (Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Preferred (Not Required)
- Fieldwork experience
- Report writing experience
- Safety or environmental coursework

**Although this is a 6 month contract, the position may be extended.
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
