JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking professional, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support a small group of physicians associated with Lighthouse Dermatology in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will work closely with the physicians to manage clinical flow, assist with specialized dermatological procedures, and provide comprehensive patient education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct initial assessments for new and follow-up dermatology patients.
- Educate patients on skin conditions, procedures, wound care, and post-care instructions.
- Assist in performing office-based procedures (such as biopsies).
- Assist in wound care and wound closure.
- Follow up on test results, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
- Capture high-quality clinical images for patient records.
- Monitor and review lab results between visits.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Triage referrals and pharmacy/primary care requests or inquiries.
- Prepare, dilute, and administer various medical and cosmetic injections.
- Perform various procedures under physician supervision.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures, including tray setup and instrument sterilization.
- Follow medical device reprocessing protocols.
- Support quality improvement initiatives related to optimizing patient care.
- Manage pathology and microbiology specimens.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using OSCAR electronic medical record (EMR) software, with excellent keyboarding proficiency.
- Assist Medical office Assistants (MOAs) with administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, along with proficiency/strong familiarity with:
- Surgical tray preparation
- Intradermal injections
- Subcutaneous injections
- Cosmetic injectables (such as Botox)
- OSCAR EMR
Start Date: As early as June 15, 2026.
Work Environment: Primarily on-site with potential for work-from-home hours.
Pay: $48.00-$60.00 per hour
