ABOUT US:

POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide support with the handling and cutting of production metals to meet demand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely cut metal to specification, ensuring tolerance compliance, and maintain the saw with proper blade selection, tension, and speed.
- Work in safe manner following all company policies and procedures
- Maintain equipment in safe condition through daily and weekly preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean workspace by cleaning saw, emptying garbage, and properly storing tools.
- Organize and label parts
- Operate overhead crane as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience on large equipment.
- Physically fit to move steel around.
- Some knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience in the heavy trailer industry or similar preferred.
- Experience in industrial metal saw operation preferred.
HOURS:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
