As a Planning Supervisor at Spark Foundry, your role is to provide oversight to the development of media plans that deliver on client objectives, while ensuring that human insights drive business outcomes. You will be responsible to the management of junior team members and ensuring that their deliverables are clear, concise and accurate. You will work closely with your Director to develop and sell through Spark Foundry and Publicis Media solutions to your roster of clients.

You will have ongoing direct client contact for those brands under your specific responsibility

Gather and analyze data and human insights to determine the client’s advertising and media needs,

Create and present media plans to clients

Analyzes media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the Advertising budget

Clearly communicates client brand and campaign objectives to the team to ensure insightful and strategic connections plan delivery that bring human connections to life

Provides guidance to and mentors Media Strategy Planners and Assistants to ensure their successful professional development

Provides oversight to accuracy, quality and timeliness of Strategy Planner and Assistants’ work

Co-ordinate with partner agencies and global counterparts to maintain efficient work streams

Oversight to financial process – ensuring monthly billing is accurate and complete according to deadlines, ensuring discrepancies are managed

Part of the Supervisor role will be to work with the team Director to determine areas of growth for each assigned client: determining appropriate mix of Spark Foundry and Publicis Media offerings, effectively selling through solution

Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred

Three + years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying and management

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Strong negotiating skills

Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure

Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities

Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources

Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
