Commercial Roofing Sales & Project Manager
Quinn Roofing Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales & Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, conducting roof assessments, preparing estimates and proposals, securing work, and managing projects through completion. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers from initial inquiry through project closeout.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, organized, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in commercial roofing systems and construction practices.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial and institutional clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and roof assessments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and service requests.
- Prepare estimates, quotations and proposals.
- Follow up on bids and sales opportunities.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and generate repeat business.
- Represent Quinn Roofing Solutions professionally within the community and industry.
Project Management
- Coordinate awarded projects from startup through completion.
- Conduct pre-job planning and project review meetings.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors and scheduling requirements.
- Work closely with operations staff, foremen and customers throughout project execution.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project documentation, change orders and closeout requirements.
- Perform site visits to ensure projects are progressing safely and efficiently.
- Assist in resolving field issues and customer concerns.
- Participate in pre-job planning to ensure project scope, site conditions, material requirements and critical project details are properly identified and communicated prior to mobilization.
- Ensure critical job information such as roof composition, deck type, drainage conditions, access requirements, transitions, site logistics and material requirements are accurately documented and communicated to operations and field staff.
- Remain actively involved after project award to support job preparation, project coordination, customer communication, and successful project completion.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of project planning, quality control and production processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in commercial roofing, construction sales, estimating, project management, or a related construction field.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, BUR and related roofing assemblies.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications and project documents.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Comfortable with using different software programs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial roofing estimating experience.
- Existing relationships within the commercial, industrial or institutional construction market.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of roofing manufacturers, specifications and warranty requirements.
- Experience working directly with field operations and construction crews.
