We’re excited to announce that an opportunity has opened for a Detailer. We are looking for an individual with a great personality, loves the Powersports/Marine Industry, who takes pride in their work, and who enjoys working with a great team. We encourage you to apply!
Customer satisfaction is one of your top priorities. The applicant should have a proven ability to multi-task and be self-motivated, work positively/professionally and effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily tasks and deliveries with the Service Supervisor.
- Organize, move, and park customer and dealership units on the lot.
- Load and unload motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, trailers, and other equipment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing units for damage.
- Refuel dealership units and equipment as required.
- Clean, wash, and detail units to ensure they are customer-ready.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dealership property, shop, and yard.
- Assist with customer unit deliveries and pickups throughout Nova Scotia.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in the automotive, powersports, marine, or service industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver's Licence required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability move equipment safely.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent use of hands, arms, and feet when operating equipment and handling units.
