Maratek is a fast-growing company in the environmental services industry and is looking to hire a dedicated DZ Truck Driver to support day-to-day routes safely and professionally.

We are searching for a dedicated DZ Truck Driver to perform a variety of tasks, safe operation of vehicles in our fleet, lifting 50lbs, loading and unloading trucks, moving drums and other containers, and variety of other general labour tasks.
You may find this job interesting for you if you have worked as a heavy truck operator or have completed DZ training. Not to worry though, we accept all applicants from all types of backgrounds for this role, and training will be provided where applicable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- 2+ years heavy truck driving experience
- Must possess a DZ License
- Must have a clean drivers abstract and be insurable
- Must be punctual
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus
- Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of hazardous waste or chemical industry is an asset
- Knowledge of Regulation 347 and/or TDG is an asset
- Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established company policies and contract obligations
- Responsible for daily pre and post-trip inspections of trucks assigned
- Complete daily routes as assigned by the Plant Manager or supervisors.
- Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
