Duties
- Assist in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration units, HVAC systems, boilers, and related mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize plumbing and welding skills to repair piping systems, refrigerant lines, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct appliance repairs and assist with construction projects involving refrigeration or HVAC infrastructure.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the team in maintaining detailed service records and work logs for all repairs and inspections.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Basic plumbing and welding skills for pipe repairs and system modifications.
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair and general maintenance tasks.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding installation processes.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures related to refrigeration work.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
