Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in commercial and public spaces. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas to meet health standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored safely after use
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Ensure all areas are kept organized and presentable throughout the shift
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
