Job Titles: Landscaper
Position Start Date: We are offering year round employment with compensation to commensurate with experience.
Salary: TOP RATES OFFERED based on experience, enthusiasm and work ethic
Position Overview:
Cutting and trimming grass,edging, raking, fertilizing and other lawn care duties
Weeding and cultivating gardens, pruning shrubs and trees.
Installing soil and mulch into planting beds, spreading top soil, laying sod, planting flowers, grass, shrubs and trees.
Handle, transport and install nursery stock.
Performing various other duties to assist in maintenance and construction of landscapes as directed.
Operate various tools and equipment including: blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning equipment, lawn mowers and line trimmers and their maintenance
Comply with all company policies and regulations
Position Requirements:
Valid ‘G’ driver’s license an asset
Knowledge of plants and proper tree/shrub planting practices an asset.
Landscape experience is an asset
Physically fit- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend and lift repeatedly
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
Punctual and dependable
Self motivated with good work ethic
Able to work well with co-workers
Has a enthusiastic and positive attitude
