Warehouse Receiver

BMG Industries Inc. is a fast-growing emergency preparedness and first aid company based in Burnaby, BC. We supply emergency kits, first aid products, food, water, PPE, and other safety products to customers across Canada.
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our warehouse team.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, checking quantities and product condition, entering receiving information accurately, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
This role is important because receiving errors create inventory problems throughout the entire company. The right candidate must be organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Count products and confirm quantities against purchase orders.
- Inspect products for damage, shortages, or incorrect items.
- Record received inventory accurately in the warehouse management system.
- Label, organize, and move products to the correct warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely.
- Assist with pallet breakdown, product sorting, and warehouse organization.
- Report receiving discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or purchasing team.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Keep receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Support shipping, picking, packing, and other warehouse duties when required.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is preferred.
- Forklift and reach truck experience is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using an iPad, computer, or warehouse management system.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills.
- Able to follow procedures and communicate problems clearly.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes and products throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take responsibility for completed work.
Experience with NetSuite WMS, e-commerce fulfillment, inventory control, or high-volume receiving is an asset.
