FTG Circuits is a manufacturer of high technology, high reliability printed circuit boards. Our customers are leaders in the aviation, defense, and high technology industries. FTG Circuits has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Chatsworth, California, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Minnetonka, Minnesota, Haverhill, Massachusetts and a joint venture in Tianjin, China.
FTG Aerospace designs, certifies, manufactures and provides in-service support for illuminated cockpit products and electronic assemblies for original equipment manufacturers and operators of aerospace and defense equipment. FTG Aerospace has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, Chatsworth, California and Tianjin, China.
As Process Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to provide the technical support, training and analytical methods necessary to ensure manufacturing teams and supervisors have the necessary process technology, process capability, statistical process controls, facilities and capacity available to them at an acceptable level of cost and quality to meet customer needs and company targets
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for optimizing processes for cost, time, quantity and quality of product produced.
- Provide manufacturing teams with the process capabilities necessary to achieve the levels of technology specified by the technology roadmap and document these capabilities for the annual planning process.
- Provide manufacturing teams with technical process training.
- Provide project leadership to define and accurately plan capital requirements and expenses, per project or process, to meet the technology roadmap milestones.
- Assist in the development of the annual equipment, capital, yield improvement and expense plans.
- Monitor manufacturing processes for adherence to all applicable standards and registration systems.
- Work on prototype products to develop process through manufacturing.
- Work with manufacturing on first time parts through manufacture to insure proper processes are developed and meet delivery schedule to the customer.
- Develop, implement and maintain work instructions for production processes.
- Develop, implement and maintain SPC system for the production processes.
Qualification / Education Requirements
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read, interpret and work from schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years experience in illuminated cockpit component manufacturing or related industry experience.
- Must be registered with PEO.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be eligible for CGP Clearance.
Pay: $75,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
