Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. This position requires a commitment to ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, ensuring waste management protocols are followed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management.
