Culinary Steward
A key member of the culinary team, the kitchen steward is responsible for cleanliness in the restaurant back-of-house. This position requires open availability.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning dishes from all Food & Beverage service in various hotel departments
- Assisting with storage of food orders
- General cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area
- Assisting with staff meal service
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous culinary experience an asset
- Sincere team focus
- Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shift
- Some lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting over-head
