Job description
We are a consumer goods retailer based in St. Catharines who is looking to hire a warehouse sorter / Assembler / pick & pack labourer.
As a Warehouse Sorter / Assembler / Pick & Pack Labourer, your role involves several important responsibilities:
1 - Warehouse Duties: As part of your regular warehouse duties, you will be involved in various tasks:
o Managing the movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
o Categories for product pricing include clothing, seasonal, grocery, hard goods, furniture, appliances
o Quality Assurance Inspections: Ensuring that products meet quality standards for storage or shipping.
o Assembling Products: Must be capable of assembling an assortment of furniture, barbecues, bicycles and more as needed.
o Using Tools: You will work with tools such as pallet jacks, computers
o Must be computer literate.
2 - Work Schedule:
o Your general work week consists of 40 hours.
o Monday to Friday, your work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
o Due to location, you must have your own transportation.
Education, Experience and Requirements:
o High School Diploma
o Experience preferred (warehouse and retail)
o Criminal background check
Compensation:
- You will receive a competitive pay rate starting at $18.00 per hour.
- Pay will increase by 5% once successfully completing 90days training.
