Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment by preparing and serving high-quality meals in a timely manner. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure prompt service
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or quick food service environment
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other staff members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures is preferred but not required

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
