Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations, as directed.
- Pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Store, count, weigh, open materials received.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Label boxes to identify materials.
- Operate forklift or other vehicles on site only.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements, as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, shop and office areas.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Warehousing experience, preferably in mining environment
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with commitment to a cooperative work environment
- Self-motivated, ability to work alone
- Diligent, attention to detail
- Significant computer skills, working within a computerized inventory control system
- Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve heavy lifting
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, forklift, and narrow aisle truck
- Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts
