Optometric Assistant / Technician
We are a fast paced, patient focused, optometry practice in Newmarket looking for a mature committed individual to join our team.
Duties include: Administering preliminary optometric tests and dry eye treatments, scheduling appointments, organizing referrals, patient recalls and other clerical tasks as needed.
Requirements: Must be comfortable to perform hands on eye related tests and treatments. Must be customer service focused, friendly, well-spoken with good telephone manner. Must excel in fast paced environment. Previous optometric, PSW or medical aesthetics experience an asset. Training provided.
Must be available evenings and weekends. Uniform provided.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
