```Job Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (OFF ROAD/ONROAD) to join our team. As an Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with heavy machinery. CVIP license considered an asset. Daily overtime after 8hrs
** this job is a 14/14 schedule, all days, and is a shop/field based position** with accommodations supplied.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments and CVIP Inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, both mechanical and electrical
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
