Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to all employees.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and workplace safety.
- Work closely with ownership or senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture built on accountability and communication.
- Monitor budgets, operational performance, and key business metrics.
Seasonal On-Site Requirement
This position follows a seasonal hybrid schedule.
During the organization's peak operating season, the Manager is expected to work primarily on-site to provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight. During the off-season, the role transitions to a hybrid or remote arrangement focused on planning, administration, recruitment, budgeting, training, and preparation for the upcoming operating season.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of management experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, recreation, service, or another operationally focused industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with common business software and scheduling systems.
