Are you a hands-on leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for boats, watersports, and powersports? We are looking for a Detailing Supervisor to lead our West Edmonton detailing team, keep workflow moving, and ensure every unit is cleaned, polished, protected, and ready for delivery to Martin Motor Sports standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside the team, coaching others, organizing daily priorities, and taking ownership of quality, efficiency, and cleanliness in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Martin Motor Sports is a leading recreational and powersports dealer group with locations across Western Canada. We specialize in the sale, service, and support of premium powersports products, including BRP brands (such as Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am), along with marine and other recreational equipment.
In addition to our retail and dealership operations, Martin Motor Sports has a growing e-commerce presence, allowing us to support customers both in-store and online. THE POSITION:
· Coach, train, mentor, organize, and schedule detailing staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
· Regularly review Smartsheet and organize work to meet deadlines.
· Delegate tasks efficiently to meet tight turnaround times for boat and/or powersport sales, and/or client appointments.
· Assist in staff performance reviews and enforce company policies.
· Perform rigorous quality control checks on all completed work before unit delivery or storage.
· Inspect units for oxidation, scratches, mildew, or upholstery damage and plan the appropriate corrective action.
· Bring forward any issues to Branch Manager and/or Sales Specialists.
· Maintain and track usage of detailing cleaning products, buffers, pads, waxes, and safety gear.
· Ensure all detailing equipment (e.g., rotary polishers, pressure washers) are properly maintained and safe to use.
· Manage the supply inventory, research best prices and options and inform branch manager of any required replenishing.
· Operate tractor to move units as required.
· Perform exterior detailing tasks, including washing, compounding, wet sanding, cut polishing, Diamond Kote and Ceramic applications and waxing of gelcoats.
· Perform washing and interior detailing of all units.
· Clean and treat various marine surfaces, such as teak wood, stainless steel, vinyl, upholstery, and canvas.
· Ensure showroom units are impeccable at a minimum weekly basis.
· Ensure all branch trucks are detailed regularly
· Assist in yard and branch cleanliness as directed.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of professional boat or auto detailing experience, with a proven track record of supervisory or leadership roles.
- Marine Knowledge: Understanding of how water and UV exposure affect different unit materials.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and work on boats and powersport units
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and a keen eye for detail.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license
