Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bindery Associate to join our Burnside team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various finishing and binding operations on printed materials, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in Bindery environments, warehouse operations, or packaging, with a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with bindery machinery.
Duties
- Operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers to complete finishing processes
- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment or storage
- Set up and adjust machinery to meet production specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting finished products for defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimize workflow
Requirements
- Previous experience in Printing, Bindery, Warehouse and or Packaging environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
- Familiarity with machining processes or equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills and reliability in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $16.07-$24.00 per hour
