Rock Pine is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Experienced Landscaper/Labourer to join our team.
This is a seasonal position beginning in mid-April until end of December.
General Requirements:
- · Previous experience in landscaping building, maintenance and/or general construction
- · Manual dexterity and proficiency in working with hand tools
- · Willing to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- · Ability to perform physically demanding working, including repeated heavy lifting
- · Valid “G” Driver’s license and access to dependable transportation with the ability to report to flexible work schedules
- · Ability to work within a positive and dynamic team environment; strong interpersonal skills
- · Self-motivated and customer service oriented
- · Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and follow all safety precautions
- · Willingness and motivation to learn
- · Ability to work as a member of a team
- · Previous health and safety training is considered an asset (Working at Heights, WHMIS, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Landscape Industry Certification (e.g., Landscape Industry Certified Technician) is a plus.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labour.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions.
